Charlee Long

"Keep your dreams alive. Understand that to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. All things are possible for those that believe!"

Charlee was born and raised on a small farm in southeastern Washington state. Her parents, Jake and Michelle Long, still live there and raise horses and goats, and put a little hay up every year. She grew up horse back, mostly in an English saddle, but about seven years ago she started training and riding barrel horses. The rest is history!

Rodeo and horses have taken Charlee on a great journey! She moved to Oklahoma in 2010 for an internship at the Lazy E Ranch. Since then she has started professionally barrel racing, traveling all over the US and Canada.

In 2013 she returned to the Lazy E to work there full time, train barrel horses and compete on the side.

Charlee's #1 horse right now is 'Compromising Levies' aka Timber, a seven year old appendix quarter horse mare. She is a 1D rodeo horse, showing pro caliber potential.

Their future goals include making the Prairie Circuit finals and qualifying for The American 2015/2016. As well as continuing to show quality horsemanship and be an inspiration to up and coming riders!

Charlee says, "God has blessed me with an amazing life! With great family and friends who have given me amazing opportunities, and I couldn't be more thankful for their endless support. I do what I love, and have faith the rest will fall in to place!

"Thank you Rockin' B Ranch! I'm so excited to have be part of the team!
Welcome to the ride!"

The Rockin' B Ranch is very excited to follow Charlee and Jax on their journey to the American, and wherever else life may lead them.
